The LIVE BOLD Fall 5K is back with a Boo! Scheduled for October 28, it's gonna be a scary good time! Get in the Halloween spirit and gather up fellow Bold Rockers that WILL RUN FOR CIDER! Walker, stroller and Fido friendly.

 

WHAT YOU GET

• All participants get a performance event shirt, finisher glass and a Bold Rock Hard Cider.

• Chip-timed by Blue Ridge Timing.

• Outdoor post-race party in the meadow with music and food for purchase from Bold Rock.

 

REGISTRATION

• $35 until October 12, 2023

• $42 October 13 – October 27

• Shirt cut-off is October 12. Non-dated event shirts from previous years will be given out, if available, by date of registration. Race day registrants shirts are $5, if available.

• Registrants will be emailed event-specific info and race day details just prior to race day.

 

TEAMS
Rally the troops and run or walk as a team on race day! All sizes and skill levels of groups are welcome, but we consider a complete team to be 2 or more participants. Create or join a team during registration. ​Biggest team and team with the best costumes wins a Bold Rock prize!

COURSE
This out-and-back course is easy and flat with gorgeous views in every direction! It's mostly pavement with some gravel. Walker, doggo and all-terrain strollers welcome. Course Map

POST-RACE
After you cross the finish line, it's time to celebrate! 

​

• A finisher glass and Bold Rock Hard Cider is included for all participants over 21

• A complimentary glass of non-alcoholic sparkling cider is included for children and adults under 21

• Use the Beverage Ticket attached to your race bib to pick up your glass and cider

• Please bring proper ID to partake

AWARDS
Awards are given to the overall male and female finishers, and to 1st place finishers in the age groups, below. Participants over 21 win a 6-pack of Bold Rock Hard Cider, and under 21 participants win a bottle of sparkling apple juice. Winners must be present at the Awards ceremony to receive their award.

REFUNDS | TRANSFERS
There are NO refunds. Runner transfers (transferring your race entry to another runner) are allowed. Please email your request two weeks before race day.

 

WEATHER
If there is severe weather that makes the course unsafe for runners, we will postpone the event to the following day. We will notify participants via email and will post this information on the website and Facebook pages. Please make sure you can make both dates, as there are no refunds.
